This project evolved as a reult of airflow circulation problems within a large retail distribution warehouse. Airflow visualisation techniques were utilised in order to understand the airflow circulation that was occuring. Based on the results of the visualisation tests that were carried out, it was possible to develop improved entrainment systems to address the airflow circulation problems. Airflow visualisation is a simple but very effective means of understanding airflow circulation paterns within large structures.
