The development of combining the functionality of piped mechanical domestic hot water services together with piped mechanical low pressure heating services distribution pipework, resulting in lower capital cost, reduced services space allocation, reduced cooling load and lower operational and energy costs.

This technology was developed in response to specific client need to reduce retrofit costs and to overcome severe space allocations within existing buildings.

Applied Energy were instrumental in assessing how the client's requirements could be met using the latest M&E concepts from around the world. The resulting solution has enabled the client to make optimum use of capital resources whilst overcoming practical construction issues which would have otherwise resulted in significant on costs.
