Why Use Applied Energy? Applied Energy strives to provide its clients with a bespoke solution tailored to their specific needs rather than selling any particular proprietary system or products. We always endeavour to seek out the most appropriate design solution rather than employing 'conventional' solutions wherever it is appropriate to do so. Whilst this may mean that we do adopt tried and tested solutions in many cases however, if there is a more innovative approach that will yield better returns in the future, we endeavour to identify such proposals for client consideration. Justification:Applied Energy have a proven track record since its inception in 1988 of general practice as Building Services Consulting Engineers of delivering energy efficient solutions to our clients ranging from but not limited to many Combined Heat & Power applications, Ice Technology Cooling Systems, to bespoke Building Energy Management Systems. Our commitment to identifying and delivering energy efficiency in the overall quest for general emission reduction leading towards Sustainability has in the last year reached we believe new highs. Three examples of our sustainability innovation are shown to illustrate our credentials all of which were carried out before sustainability became in vogue.

It is our view that the projects in the technology profiles section demonstrate Applied Energy's commitment to working with manufacturers and suppliers to develop products to deliver energy efficiency and consequently environmental improvements. This has required developing a team spirit with all those involved in order to harness the various different technologies required in order that our clients can reap the benefits.
These have resulted in a first class total solutions service to our clients meeting head on the challenge laid down from the environmentalists and the Government to achieve greater emission reductions. One of the key fears of consultants is the Risk of Failure when considering taking a pioneering approach to a client's brief. This is probably one of the key factors in the slow uptake of innovative products and services. People like the comfort factor of tried and tested 'conventional' solutions. Applied Energy have clearly demonstrated in the last year that we have faced up to the challenges and risks associated with innovative solutions and in doing so have tapped the knowledge and expertise of our industry manufacturers, suppliers and installers to deliver solutions today that will stand our clients in good stead for the future.
